Basic coated electrode mainly used for hardfacing, corrosion resistant, wear resistant.
Preferably employed for sealing faces of gas, water and steam valves.
Joint welding: similar, corrosion and heat resistant chromium steels.
Scaling resistance up to 900oC.
Depending of the type and thickness of base metal, preheat and interpass temperature 200-300oC, annealing at 650-750oC.
EL E 13.4 Fe - Basic coated, alloyed by coat, electrode mainly used for welding similar corrosion resisting, martensitic-ferritic, rolled, forged and cast steels (12-14% Cr and 3-5% Ni).
Used in the production and reparation of hydroturbines, compressors, pumps, valves, armature etc.
Depending of the type and thickness of base metal, preheat and inerpass temperature 200-300oC, annealing at 650-750oC.
The weld metal is resistant to corrosion, erosion and cavitation at operating temperatures up to 450oC.
